Throughout these years, the product’s codebase has become outdated and was not able to keep
up with the business requirements, especially the iOS part. Hence, the client needed a reliable
and experienced iOS development team to handle the iOS part of the product and optimize it.
SoftTeco was responsible for all work related to iOS development. The team updated the old
parts of the code by rewriting them in Swift and made the architecture consistent and highly
suitable for unit testing. This was an important client’s request since there is a 100% unit testing
coverage for the product. We also significantly facilitated the UI testing process by automating it.
Before that, the developers had to manually create a UI test for every feature and now the process
of test writing became more automated and streamlined. As well, the team was responsible for
adding new functionality to the application and work on the user flow redesign.

Using a broad technological stack, SoftTeco developed
a multifactor authentication system that can be
"connected" with any third party solution.
Authentication takes place using multi-step encrypted
communication via the mobile device. The app is
user-friendly and requires no additional hardware. It can
be fully integrated into bank transactions, cashless store
purchases, cloud-based databases, online gaming and
IoT - ensuring 100% protection from identity theft,
phishing, skimming and credit card hijacking.

C2 Smart Light is an IoT product that allows its users to remotely control needed lightning
devices. With the help of the product, users can not only turn the devices on and off but also
manage the dimming level, make lightning adjustments, monitor the status of the devices,
and many other options.

One of the greatest advantages of the solution is that it creates control programs for lighting
networks. These programs include automatic adjustment of the light intensity based on the
time of the year, time of the day, natural light level, etc. In this way, the intensity of lighting
depends on the external environment and the lighting devices do not have to run at full
power all the time. This leads to significant energy saving (up to 20%) and reduces CO2
emissions.

A startup based in the New York City has asked SoftTeco to assist in the development of an innovate freelance
marketplace. The main idea was to connect clients with workmen who live nearby, providing them with a
possibility to handle all negotiations and payments within a chat module.

SoftTeco was working on the marketplace’s chat creation and server development. The frontend part was
developed via React.js while server part was written in C++ and Erlang. The application features extensive filter
options, location-based freelancer search and a multifunctional chat.
The ability to create and modify orders, make payments and launch the mediation process within the chat
window, makes the chat module a truly unique component. SMTP server and meta blocks deliver main
interaction elements: offer creation, offer response including renegotiation. All users can perform various roles
(customer, freelancer) and negotiate contract terms under the admin’s supervision.
