Steel Legends was designed as a fast-paced multiplayer robot fighting game built around tournaments, over a hundred progressive levels, and an extensive system of upgrades and customizations. Players could choose from a wide variety of robots, each offering unique abilities and play styles, and then take them into intense battles where strategy and reaction speed mattered equally.

The first big challenge was ensuring smooth multiplayer gameplay. Robot fighting requires real-time responsiveness, and even a fraction of a second in lag could ruin the player’s experience. With players connecting from different regions, maintaining low latency and preventing desynchronization was critical. Another challenge was scalability—balancing more than a hundred levels while constantly introducing new robots and upgrades without breaking the fairness of the game. On top of that, keeping players engaged over the long term was essential. Without meaningful progression, tournaments, and fresh content, the game risked losing momentum. Finally, monetization needed to be handled carefully. The goal was to generate revenue without slipping into a pay-to-win model that would discourage free players.

The solution was to build a strong multiplayer backbone using Unity combined with a real-time backend optimized for regional servers. This allowed battles to remain fluid, even when players joined from different parts of the world. Robots were designed with modular parts—heads, arms, weapons—so new content could be rolled out regularly without rebuilding entire characters. The tournament system added layers of excitement, with leaderboards, seasonal competitions, and clan-based play that gave players a reason to return each week. To make the experience fair, monetization was balanced around cosmetic upgrades, battle passes, and optional accelerators, ensuring free players could still remain competitive while premium players enjoyed deeper customization.

The results showed that these decisions worked. Steel Legends quickly built momentum, gaining hundreds of thousands of downloads within months of launch. Players were staying longer in each session, with average playtime nearly doubling once tournaments and upgrade systems were fully rolled out. Match performance remained stable, with latency staying under 100 milliseconds in most regions. The monetization model earned revenue without sparking complaints about pay-to-win mechanics, while the community grew naturally around tournaments and social features, leading to an active competitive scene.

GratXray needed a reliable way to demonstrate its next-generation breast CT scanner without transporting hardware to hospitals and medical conferences. The goal was simple and critical: let doctors see the device in full size, understand its motion paths, and evaluate clinical workflow — without guessing, lag, or visual gimmicks. We built a Mixed Reality solution for Meta Quest 3 and a synchronized companion tablet app so clinicians can walk around the system, observe real-world occlusion, and watch CT and tomosynthesis animations triggered in real time by a presenter. The system had to work offline, run at 90–120 FPS, hold pose accuracy across multiple headsets, and operate in kiosk-safe environments. Result: a stable, hospital-ready MR platform that communicates GratXray’s technology clearly and reduces travel and setup effort for physical devices.
